The EYFS children had a wonderful afternoon linking their science learning around senses to eating pancakes! The pancakes smelt and tasted delicious. They tried honey and lemon! Yum!

KS2 took part in a nation wide workshop for National Storytelling Week! We joined storyteller and rapper Alim Kamara who helped us find beat and rhythm to apply to poetry! Some of the children are so inspired, they are now hoping to submit their own raps as part of a competition to become published authors!

Year 2 have had a wonderful afternoon learning all about medicine - why we take medicine and who can give us it. The classroom was transformed into ‘Ferriby School Surgery’ and a friendly team of doctors and nurses were on hand to help the patients feel much better!
